In case that the guardian is outside the country or is unable to attend, he must appoint someone who is required to maintain the guardianship
That the age of the husband or wife does not exceed the other by more than half. For example; the husband is 40 years old, the age of the wife must be above 20
In the event that the wife is divorced, a certificate of divorce must be presented, and 3 months have passed since the divorce, or a court ruling certified by the executive version
A copy of the divorce certificate must be sent on WhatsApp to the authorized person before attending to ensure the wife’s permission to the contract
All the required documents, if they are from outside the country, must be duly certified by the embassy of the country and the foreign ministry of the UAE, and if they are in a language other than Arabic, they must be translated and certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Justice.
For Gulf nationals who marry non-Gulf citizens, approval must be obtained from the embassy of his country for the marriage
For Gulf women, they also take the consent of their country to marry a non-Gulf woman
Nationalities that need some certificates from their country for wives:
Yemen: Certificate of No Objection to Marriage
Lebanese: Family and individual records, attested by the UAE Embassy in her country
Moroccan: an administrative certificate of her marital status from the embassy of her country
